A Life fulfilled.

It is with profound sadness we share the sad news that Mrs Audrey Carlaw, widow of the late Squadron Prints founder Mr Alan B Carlaw, passed away suddenly but peacefully on Tuesday 20th January, 2026.  Since 1977 and for the first 20 plus years of Squadron Prints, Audrey was the voice on the phone.  Always a pleasurable and most helpful lady Audrey spoke to many around the world, made many friends in the military and was forever chasing around the house to try to find Alan, who was either in his office, in the garage or looking after his railway.

In August 2022 we were thrilled to welcome Audrey, along with one of the 3 Carlaw Girls (Alison), to the naming of our office where Air Marshal Sir Gerry Mayhew KCB CBE RAF opened “The Carlaw Building” in front of many longtime friends.

Audrey was a major part of the foundation of Squadron Prints and also a friend of 43(F) Squadron and will be sorely missed by many.  Rest in Peace dear lady – thank you for your love, patience and answering my many calls over the years.
