Bristow Helicopters has been operating the Sikorsky S92 out of their Base at Scatsta Airport in the Shetland Islands since 2007. They replaced the ageing fleet of Bristow Super Pumas, AS332L. Operated on behalf of the Integrated Aviation Consortium they transport workers to offshore installations in the Northern North Sea. Established 20 years ago, the Integrated Aviation Consortium (IAC) is a partnership involving Bristow Helicopters Limited (BHL), Eastern Airways and six major oil and gas companies to deliver aviation logistics in the northern North Sea sector. BHL is the lead contractor responsible for overall management of flying operations and provides an integrated single point of contact for helicopter, fixed wing and airport management services to the IAC.
