Description

Squadron Prints Lithograph No. 1838 - G-BYWO, Tutor, RAF Tutor Display 2026-27.

Flight Lieutenant Rich Tomala was raised in Cwmbran, South Wales before he joined the RAF in 1996. He initially flew the C-130 “Hercules” before becoming a Qualified Flying Instructor (QFI). In his 30-year career, he has taught hundreds of students to fly the Tutor, Prefect, King Air and Phenom Aircraft whilst amassing 5000 Hours. A retired Senior Officer, he left Regular Service in 2021 before transferring to Full Time Reserve Service (FTRS) on EMUAS.
