Description

Squadron Prints Lithograph No. SP224 - 88th Saudi National Day, Royal Saudi Air Force. On September 23 2018 (13 Muharram 1440) the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrated its 88th Saudi National Day. As part of the celebrations, 5 Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft were painted in commemorative paint schemes in a project designed and delivered in collaboration between the RSAF, SBDCP, Salam Project Office, MODSAP and BAE Systems. The painted aircraft comprised an F-15C belonging to the 13th Squadron; an F-15S from the 92nd Squadron; a Tornado from the 75th Squadron; a Typhoon from the 10th Sqn and an MRTT belonging to the 24th Squadron. The aircraft performed spectacular flyovers in formation with the Saudi Hawks Display Team over the cities of Jeddah, Riyadh and Dhahran.
